I do not put deadlines or timelines on any student's progress, and I also realize that each student's needs are unique to each and every person. So knowing my students' musical inclinations is important to my methods, because it gives me a direction in which to apply my instruction. Students progress through Bastien, and Burgmuller, before moving on to graduated solo repertoire.
