I started teaching privately in 2010 as part of a class assignment, and discovered I really enjoy doing it. I also love teaching and conducting choirs and have done that in various capacities for the past several years. I really believe that singing in choir is the best vocal training for young students. Choral singing and solo singing do not have to be opposite worlds! Both can be done healthily, and I like helping students discover this, or even just discover a new hobby. Read More

He gave me my first guitar at age 12 and started to show me chords and patterns to play. But it was when I first heard led Zepplin's black dog opening riff that I knew I wanted to rock. Who doesn't like to feel good about themselves? My experiences have shown me that students who achieve successes with their music feel that way. They are better people and they are better musicians. I have taught high school students who went from having no identity in the student body society to becoming proud of themselves, walking the halls with their heads held high and a smile on their faces.
