I knew I was going to become a music teacher at the age of ten, so I absolutely understand how much of an impact teachers have on students from a young age. I have been teaching larger ensembles for most of my college years, but have had private students around my school schedule for many years. Finding what motivates the student is key. If the student isn't motivated or doesn't care, then I need to change something! Read More

Hello all! I'm a welcoming piano teacher ready to spark passion for music in young pianists! I am currently studying Music Education in piano at the University of Delaware. I have been playing piano since I was 6 years old, and it's been a journey of learning new things everyday since then! I have experience playing contemporary piano on worship teams in churches, playing classical music for recitals, and entering a concerto competition. Read More

I find each student's possibility. Some are good at reading music, but other are good at listening. Some have creativity to compose music and other are good at understanding what composers idea and perform music beautifully. Therefore I take different approach to each student. I discuss about their goal and set the goal with together with students. I explain what is the best way to achieve the goal. I instruct them clearly step by step and let them know what they have to do every day. Read More

I also perform in the jazz quartet, Otherworld, with Jeffrey Chappell, Jake Marinari, and Jake Kohlhas, and I have appeared with Jon Mathis, Seth Kibel, and Wes Crawford at the Goucher Summer Arts Institute Jazz Camp. I studied electric bass with Golder O'Niell at Shenandoah University, electric bass with Steve Yankee at Goucher College, and double bass under Laura Ruas at Peabody University. Read More

I believe that motivating and inspiring students requires a different approach. But nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music. Therefore, its important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a student desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn and practice more. Read More

In college a gave two recitals with a variety of music from different periods including a couple of pieces of my own. After college I played at a local restaurant several times and did a few open mikes at Towson University. Read More
Instruments: Trombone Euphonium
I am a driven performer, as well as an inspired instructor who learns just as much from his students as they do from him. In 2014, I graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz/Commercial Trombone Performance. I have toured all over the country playing in many different bands, allowing me to experience many things in life that I never would have without music. I enjoy performing in both the Jazz/Commercial world, and the Classical world. Read More
