I believe that good, consistent practice is the key to truly developing a student's musical abilities and potential. For beginner students who are children, I usually use Faber and faber method series or the Alfred method series. All curriculum is based on age, so that it will help students learn at their own pace and level. Once the student gets to a certain point, I start adding in fun pieces that the child suggest, or might like, to add to what he or she is already learning. For an adult, or students around the age of twelve and up, I will use the adult versions of Faber and faber or Alfred. Read More
