I do not believe in the "cookie-cutter" teaching method, which means that I do not utilize the same teaching method with every student. I realize that each student is a unique individual with different learning preferences. With each student, I design a different approach that caters to the student's needs. I have been teaching guitar in the greater Milwaukee area for 16 years and have had hundreds of students. With an Associates degree in Occupational Music, I combine text book fundamentals with a creative outlook and professional stage experience. I encourage students to have fun with their instrument as opposed to making learning guitar a chore. I start out with simple techniques to get my students playing quickly. With each newer levels and adding a new subject to talk about, that will be applied.
