I'm an expert in violin and piano performance and instruction. I create a unique and comprehensive Lesson plans for each student. I teach beginner to advance levels for very young or adult students by conducting both in person or online lessons. Along with teaching how to play an instruments I also teach theory at the same time, because I find that it's highly nessesary to understand how to read, count the rhythms, and many more about music. I provide a broad understanding of the instrument, with years of study to back it up, taking a conceptual, theoretical, technical and applicable approach, while stimulating the most important aspect: creativity. I get to the root of what the student needs to know eliminating excess, in order to speed up the learning process. Nothing originates from a strictly academic place, so I promote a natural free flowing environment, catered to the uniqueness of the individual in order to encourage study and inspire innovation. I love performing but more that that I love to see my students embrace a lifelong love of music. In a collaboration with parents, I seek to know the student and set up a positive reinforcement dynamic. Read More
Instruments: Piano Trumpet Trombone Bass Guitar Synthesizer Euphonium French Horn Tuba Music
I strongly believe that a well-rounded music education helps a player to become a more confident, musical, and an emotionallyyaware musician. As such, I like to give my students small assignments focused on topics besides just performance, such as Music Theory and Aural Skills exercises. Of course, I will always move at the pace the student needs but I also know (from personal experience) that a nudge in the right direction can be priceless. Read More

Instruments: Drums
In my lessons I use snare drum method books such as Mitchell Peters Intermediate Book or Stick Control by George Stone to teach reading and basic hand technique. Once I feel the student is proficient in reading and technique I move on to drumset coordination books as well as learning drum parts to the students favorite music. I also teach techniques for xylophone, tympani and other classical percussion instruments. I have an extensive library of music books and techniques so if one method doesn't work I have no problem customizing my lesson plan to fit the student's need. Read More
