In 2011 I performed with the string orchestra as part of the 50/20 celebration in the British Embassy of Kuwait for the VIP guests, including Prince Charles Attendance (2011). I performed in the following school productions: ”The Phantom of the Opera” (2009) ,’’My Fair Lady’’(2010),” Blood Brothers” (2011), ’’Evita’’(2012),’’Jack and the Beanstalk’’ (2013),’’The Lion King’’ (2014). From 2006-2008 I was employed as an accompanist for the Kuwait Singers Choir. I have been teaching for about 10 years now, both privately and in various music lesson stores throughout the Tampa Bay area. I have taught students ranging from 5 to 60 years of age. My students have been accepted into Blake Performing Arts High School, All County Orchestras, Tampa Bay Youth Orchestras, Tampa Metropolitan Youth Orchestras, and even Florida's All State Orchestras. My philosophy lies in structure - such as teaching in appropriate amounts that are challenging, but not overwhelming. I will always ask students what they're interested in learning and work that into the lesson. But the main focus for beginners is to be comfortable with the fretboard and to have fun. I break lessons down into technique, theory, and whatever the student is particularly wanting to learn.
