I started in September of 2018 with one student who I taught throughout the semester, and seeing him grow throughout the months was satisfying unlike anything else I've experienced. I taught one student a semester due to my school commitments but still managed to teach them a lot and open their eyes to the world of music. As a drummer that has played in all kinds of styles and venues, I can teach any skill level from the first time picking up sticks to making good drummers great and great drummers legendary. Using my experience as a school band director (4 years), I am also able to teach concert band instruments (trumpet, flute, trombone, etc.) as well as Jazz ensemble instruments (drum set, electric bass). Rewards/Certificates are given upon the completion of each level with weekly progress tracking. I am flexible to work with students' schedule. Though I have a 24 hours cancellation policy, make up lesson usually can be arranged when notice is given in advance. To ensure the best environment and utilize the resources I have available, I do prefer students to come to my neighborhood locations (77077 or 77043) for private lessons or group classes. Read More
