In January 2004 I left Stockholm for Madrid, looking for new experiences as a Percussionist, Composer and Producer. In Spain I shared stage as well as studios with various artist such as Aute, Beatriz Luengo, Andy Lucas, Victoria Abril, David Bisbal, Paco Ortega, Habana Blues, David Bustamante, YADAM and Cruceta Flamenco among many others. I then moved to Miami, where I have been residing for the past 12 years. Teaching piano is my passion. I have my AA degree in Music Education with an emphasis in creative performance and also have my bachelors degree in Music Education. I have served as chairman of the National Guild of Piano and I currently have a studio of 30 students. When I'm not teaching, I play at North Hialeah Baptist Church in Hialeah, and play in my band, "Sunset Worship". I love giving 2- 4 recitals throughout the year and love performing with my students. Being familiar with nearly every genre of music, I’m capable of teaching any style the student is interested in from movie scores, to broadway show tunes, to gospel, and modern, etc. Of course my favorite style and the one I recommend is the classical curriculum which I usually try to implement with each student as it has shown the best results in the past with students of all ages. I've had teaching experience since High school as a young teen, and have continued teaching on a freelance basis throughout the years. I am a motivated instructor who enjoys teaching students of all ages.  My experience includes playing from memory works by well known classical composers such as Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, Chopin and Debussy.  These recitals were before I graduated.   My teachers were impressed that I could play these works from memory.  I enjoyed practicing for these recitals. In voice I teach what I learned the Alexander Technique method of singing which focuses on posture and alignment. In piano I learned the Russian method and do teach it but I also teach the popular and Jazz method of fake book reading.
