 Music is a very physical thing as well as a very abstract thing.  In my lessons, there will be kennistetic learning through movement as well as teaching through sensation. Using tools like Solfege it helps create muscle memory and tuning. Piano students will learn a wealth of theory knowledge, correct posture and fingering patterns. My teaching experience dates back to high school, when I helped others prepare for their vocal performances in our school competitions. Upon beginning my college career as a musical theatre major, I began to have many fellow students come to me for audition help and vocal training.
