In my voice lessons, I want to feel that the student is doing what they want to do, not just what I tell them. With this in mind, I work with the student to find songs or pieces that they want to try and sing. If it is an appropriate level of difficulty, we will work on it straight away. It's all about having a clear goal in mind and working towards it: we'll have conversations about objectives and musical preferences (classical? jazz? rock and pop?) and then develop goals based on those preferences (playing live? what kind of pieces/songs?). I have always had a deep appreciation, understanding and desire to spread and teach my passion for music. I started playing classical piano when I was 7 years old. In 2004 I graduated from Fairfield University with a business degree. I have had the honor of performing at Carnegie Hall in Manhattan and music venues all over the world.
