I have taught siblings in a class type setting. I have taught preschoolers at preschool. I have taught Little Mozarts to little ones. I use music in the homes already, sometimes I provide things from the 50s that my aunt and uncle scribbled in: leila Fletcher, Edna Mae Burnam, classical composers-mozart, debussy, chopan, clementi, beethoven, bach. This could be a performance piece, some improvisational composition, or another activity related to the piano. As we go along, I like to branch into the theory behind what we are doing. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance.
