Once the student has developed and progressed over certain aspects I will introduce repertoire that will be learned and performed at the end. I've been playing the piano for 15 years as a church accompanist. I currently perform as a church accompanist at a church in Little Rock for 6 years. During summer 2012, I held a piano teaching internship at Rhythm 88 Music School in Little Rock, Arkansas. I performed at Carnegie Weill Hall with my friend, cellist Kyung-min Kang 2013 summer. The cellist won 3rd place in the American Protege Competition. The winners recital was held during July 2013 at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Read More

My lessons are not built for me to tell the student what to do, but rather learn how they learn and research the best practices for reaching that student. There is no "cookie cutter" method that works for all students, because everyone learns and comprehends a little bit differently. I remain sensitive to that and patient with my students.
