I was encouraged to have a strong practice routine on a consistent schedule so I try and instill the same practice in both my vocal and keyboard students. Depending on the level the student is at I will work with them where they are at and what is needed. If a beginning student I will usually start off with working on scales and use visual tools such as books to help aid the process. I began piano lessons at age 4, was in competitions as a child and also worked with the Sherwood School of Music in Chicago. My music leadership experience began with competitive show choir in 8th grade - voted Student of the Year - and these experiences inspired me through high school! The show choir program director appointed me tenor section leader in 9th grade and Voice Captain in 10th grade for my ability to lead voice sectional rehearsals and provide pianist accompaniment when needed. I am currently a performing arts coach for the Anaheim Union High School District, supporting vocal music and dance program directors with clinician and choreography services. Read More

My background is in musical theater and I have sung, acted and danced my way around the world. I love what I do and love to share this passion with my students. I get the greatest joy out of helping my students connect with their own voices, gain confidence and see them grow as a person and as artists.
