I strive to create a safe space for my students where they can dive into their material and feel empowered through learning and practicing. Some weeks a piano student might complete the material rapidly and some weeks, they may want to go slower, taking their time, therefore they excel at their own comfort level and don't feel as though there is a race. So I have combined my teaching experiences with what I have learned in Masters program to come up with new method of teaching the students. My lessons  are innovative and creative. My teaching style is all about enjoying music and the instrument. I can pick up when a student is frustrated, confused or embarrassed and adjust the lesson accordingly. Overall, I want my students to have fun! I enjoy teaching how to read music and once a few notes are learned, I start applying it to songs that my students really enjoy. Through dedicated instruction, I guided my students to achieve remarkable accomplishments, including securing second place in the prestigious German Piano Competition. Currently, I have returned to the United States and provide private lessons.
