I am a graduate of Texas Tech University. I began teaching privately in 1985 on the Lubbock ISD Music Tutorial Program. I went into the schools and taught students privately during class hours. I taught Tuba and Baritone Horn. In 1989 I began teaching with Lubbock Parks and Recreation in the community centers. This was more generalized. I taught Band Instruments, Voice, Guitar, Music Theory, Beginner Piano, Beginner Strings. What I consider to be my crown achievement is hearing from parents who told me that the overall academic performance of their children had improved since they began taking lessons from me. Read More

I have been a professional musician for over 20 years playing with various groups including the U.S. Marine Band in Hawaii, and various cruise ships for Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, and Princess Cruises. I have also performed with recording artists such as Ben Vereen, Charro, Regis Philbin and the group Kansas, to name a few.
