I'm a freelance flutist in Columbus, Ohio and volunteer musician at the James Cancer Hospital at The Ohio State University. I have recently graduated with Doctoral of Musical Arts at The Ohio State University under guidance of Katherine Borst Jones and as a soloist I have performed for "Franz Devienne Flute Concerto No. 7 in e minor" with The Ohio State University Symphony Orchestra. I currently teach piano lessons at Trinity under the name of Joseph’s Piano, and at That Music Place in Springboro and Bella Musica in Miamisburg. Some of my past performances include piano accompaniment for Ohio Performing Arts Musicals and the Clark State Community College Chorus. While in high school at Springfield Shawnee, I played the pipe organ at Wittenberg University’s Weaver Chapel. While at ONU, I was a member of the Wind Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, Marching Band, and Woodwind Ensemble. I was given opportunities to perform in these various ensembles on clarinet, bass clarinet, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, and flute. I served as the principal clarinet of the Wind Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra, Instrumental Music Librarian, Wind Orchestra Ensemble Manager, and Wind Orchestra Assistant Conductor.
