For the begining for those students that they don't know music i teach them the basic, for example i start with the rhythm and after the fundamentals. They are going to learn how to read simple notes. Once they have a grasp of the fundamentals they are ready to be introduce into the piano. For the students that already know the concept and how to play the instrument, I ask where they are and I continue to provide them more so they can continue in there progress. Read More

I believe that it is the teacher duty not only to impart the wisdom expected of them, but to also guide the students in their academic endeavors. While I understand that each and every student is unique in their learning and progress, I will always strive to push my students forward and sometimes out of their comfort zones as to be better performers, better musicians, and better people. I did this for roughly ~5 years. I also taught lessons prior to this to beginner students throughout high school. Praise and positive reinforcement are essential. I like students to explore their creative sides through composition and improvisation. I introduce chords and harmony and have students develop their own arrangements of pieces studied, This gives them a sense of empowerment and discovery.
