I am from a family of musicians and started my music lessons at a young age. I love playing the piano and have accompanied choirs, vocalists, bands, churches, etc. throughout my life. Other than the priceless enjoyment I have gotten out of being able to play the piano, my greatest pleasure has been teaching young and old how to play, appreciate and enjoy the piano instrument. Music has been my life for so long and it is my passion! I started reading sheet music when I was 4. I started to learn Piano when I was 5. At age 7 I started learning basic Music Theory. At age 10, I began my journey with Flute and I have been playing ever since! After completing my BA in public relations I was awarded a teaching assistantship at the University of Arkansas to teach the basic speech requirement. I became pregnant and did not complete my MA but began teaching private piano lessons part time while raising my children. As the needs of my family changed I began working with children in other ways such as coaching ball teams. During my college years, I was a scholarship singer at First Presbyterian Church, and a member of the Sam Houston State University Chorale. Past experiences include singing with the UTB/TSC Master chorale, with which he performed at the Texas Music Educators Association. I have experience teaching guitar lessons and performing at the Alpha Omega Academy in Huntsville, Texas.
