I try to make sure students can progress at their own pace based on their own skill level and experience with the instrument. I try to instill diligence patience and not being too hard on yourself as the top priorities. I want student and teacher interactions to be casual enjoyable and fun but at the same time serious with regards to the composer's intentions in the music. Since this book has always been essential material to my learning, I will use this book to teach the beginning students and show them that exercises can also be fun and enjoyable to play, as I find them to be.
