I have been teaching clarinet and piano since 2019. For each student, I focus on developing healthy practice habits (physically mentally) that allow them to be efficient and rewarded by their time spent with the instrument. This gave me a good perspective on how to directly connect with each student to ensure that we are exploring the best concept of learning for the individual. I'm a fun, energetic teacher who enjoys helping students find their inner passion for music. In 2012, I graduated from UNC - Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Mathematics. While studying composition under Dr. Allen Anderson, I premiered and recorded pieces for brass trio, wind quintet, percussion ensemble, and soprano with piano accompaniment.
