More advanced students take their supplemental material from the Exploring Piano Classics series by Nancy Bachus. My band students use Hal Leonard's Essential Elements series and the Rubank Methods books (Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced for each instrument). I am from the Columbus, Ohio region and am receiving my Bachelors in Music Education in May 2021 with my primary instrument being saxophone. I am extremely close to my family, living with my mom, grandpa, and three sisters. I enjoy being outside and reading in my free time. I teach at the pace of the student, setting small achievable goals each lesson. I encourage students by acknowledging their progress and finding out what excites them. Students are encouraged to take what they've learned and participate in recitals, competitions, and any other musical opportunity they can find.
