I have been teaching Prek- 8th Grade general music, choir, drama and instrumental lessons for the past 5 years. I am a 2009 graduate of Rutgers University with a BA in Music and a 2011 graduate of Teachers College, Columbia University with an MA in Music Education. If there are no immediate goals for my students, I prefer to focus on classical technique and tone exercises that I compile through a variety of method books for each woodwind instrument. This includes but is not limited to: Moyse, Kroepsch, Baermann, Ferling, Shaw, Filas, Lacour, and many others. My teaching style allows the child to have fun while they learn their instrument, but I emphasize a strong practice regiment.
