Instruments: Piano Voice Saxophone Flute Clarinet
I graduated from Temple University in 2011 with my Bachelor's degree in Music Education. I was a saxophone major, but I have also studied piano since the age of three. I enjoy performing in musical pits, which is where I picked up the flute and the clarinet. I am currently a choral teacher at the high school level, but I have previously taught in a K-8 school, as well as several years in a daycare setting with very young students. Read More

I'm a passionate and curious musician. I'm self-taught in the styles of classical and jazz from when I picked up the clarinet I found at a Salvation Army at the age of 10. I taught myself until I started college and studied with Kelly Lake, Stephanie Gardner and currently with Jeff Quamo. While working toward receiving my Masters in Clarinet performance at NAU, I taught music theory and aural perception at the undergraduate level. In addition to teaching I've had two pieces written and recorded for me along with a couple tracks on a comedian's recent albums. Read More

I am an experienced and music-certified teacher of 7 years specializing in woodwind instruments. All ages/ability levels welcome! My students will learn how to develop effective practice routines, learn how to read music and play songs by ear, and establish a strong foundation of technique and music theory so you can start playing your favorite songs AND sound great while doing so! I am flexible with scheduling and locations, and can either travel to you or meet with students in my own personal studio. Read More
Instruments: Saxophone Flute Clarinet
I have taught saxophone, flute, and clarinet to students of all ages for over the past 8 years and have found it best to tailor the lessons to the individual needs of the student while emphasizing the basics of tone production, technique and proper attitude. Recently, I was the saxophone professor at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. I also like to help the student develop time management skills to allow him or her to create a healthy habit of practicing. Read More
Instruments: Piano Saxophone Flute Clarinet
My ultimate goal as a teacher is to create independent musicians capable of creative thinking and musicality long after they have left my studio. While reading the notes and rhythms is obviously important, understanding why those notes, rhythms or markings are in the music will help students develop and learn musicianship skills that are often overlooked. Providing students with performance opportunities and sharing my passion for music help students stay encouraged and become creative and independent thinkers not just in music, but other areas of life as well. Instruments: Piano Saxophone Flute Clarinet
I do not usually follow any method book as every student is different, has different background, goals and aspirations. I try to mix exercises/methods that I use in my practice with materials of accomplished pedagogues. I have my set of warm-ups that I use on saxophone, clarinet, and flute; I often find myself using flute method while playing the saxophone which only pushes my and my students abilities and makes them better musicians.
