I am a passionate and motivated musician, artist, and educator. I believe God blessed me with the gifts I have in order to be a musical blessing to others and teach instrumental music. I have been a performer since middle school and have carried it into my professional career. I graduated from Coppin State University with a Bachelor of Science in Urban Arts and a minor in music. The love of music is one of the strongest passions in my life. I have been preforming professionally with the U.S. Fleet Marine Corps Music program for almost ten years. Through that program I have been able to perform in sixteen different countries for presidents, vice presidents, kings, queens, and prime ministers. He credits his time at Baylor University for teaching him the value of a supportive and nurturing environment balanced with hard work and dedication. And later we will work on the more intricate aspects of trumpet playing such as articulations and range, while learning new songs! Rickards the band was selected as the honor band for the Veterans Day Celebration and was selected to perform a post-game performance at Florida A&M University; Assistant to the Director of Band and Arranger at Thomasville High School in Thomasville, Georgia (2004-2005), during his time at Thomasville High the band was featured in a commercial for White Wheat Bread for the Hostus Bread Company. In the summer of 2006 I was asked to serve as the Assistant Director of Bands and Music Arranger at his alma mater Miami Carol City Senior High. Read More

Many of my students have been successful at the district and state honor band levels and have gone on to attend reputable music schools across the country.
