The methods used in my trumpet studio focus solely on the fundamentals of playing trumpet. For all ages, there is a focus on building breath support, dexterity, and range. For the intermediate and advanced players, there is a focus on transpositions, sight-reading, dexterity, and learning standard trumpet repertoire. All of my lessons are tailored around the student and adhere to the New York State Standards for Music. I have played all around the country including Texas, Colorado, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, California, Georgia, New Jersey and many more. In 2020, I qualified as a finalist for the Northeast Euphonium Tuba Regional Conference Military Euphonium Mock Band Audition Competition. For piano, I have had 8 years of training and have won many competitions. My teaching style allows the child to have fun while they learn their instrument, but I emphasize a strong practice regiment.
