My teaching experience dates back to my school days, as I began teaching private lessons part time ,from 2003,and have been consistently teaching students in my home and at students homes, for the last 10 years. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for the younger students, as it tends to help the student progress. Thanks to my studying of violin teaching methodology,I found that, there’s no ideal formula of teaching violin to everyone, the same way ,as ,there’s no ideal magor or minor scale, for practicing only that technique to achieve the best result, as people have defferent cultural and musical backgrounds, so student should enjoy the lesson and have fun while learning . Everyone has different expectations; some want to become proficient, while others want to become virtuosos, and I frame my lessons around the student's goals. As an active concert violinist,Ihave appeared with the Boston Symphony Orchestra,the Brockton Symphony and Quincy Symphony Orchestras, and enjoy frequent guest appearances with the Lowell and Waltham Philharmonic Orchestras. While performingat The Universitat Mozarteum Akademie Salzburg,I was recently named Laureatefor my execution of 21st century composer Lera Auerbach's 'T'filah' for Solo Violin. As an orchestral musician, I was Concertmaster of The Juilliard Orchestra, hold the Principal Second position in Solisti Ensemble, and was featured member of the critically acclaimed Axiom Ensemble. I began teaching voice in college both privately and in group settings. In addition, I directed and taught music for two theater productions. I enjoy helping each student reach their unique goals as an individual. I am trained as an opera singer and I specialize in classical/operatic and musical theater repertoire. Additionally, I am trained in music theory, ear training, Eurhythmics, acting, Alexander technique, vocal pedagogy, French, Italian, German, and Greek so I can offer insight on any of these topics. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. For adults, I try to find out what the student is interested in, and guide my instruction accordingly to keep the lessons engaging and fun, no matter their ability level.
