I hold four degrees in violin performance and have been teaching for nineteen years. I have worked with students ages 2-adult. I have trained students to be professional violinists and worked with countless beginners and amateurs. I enjoy working with all ages and levels. I teach a mixture of Traditional and Suzuki Methods. I then transition to Suzuki repertoire. I also include music individual to each student based on their interests. My methods are flexible and designed to draw out the strengths of each student. Clarinet has been my primary performance instrument, but I have found over the years that the techniques that I use to teach clarinet are easily and successfully transferable to the other instruments that I teach. Besides the clarinet, I also teach saxophone, guitar, violin and piano throughout the Colorado Springs area.
