I am just 20 years old, and while I am still a growing musician and teacher myself, I have had experience in teaching lessons for the past three years. I started teaching private lessons on acoustic guitar a couple years ago, and I have also taught classes of vocal, violin and piano students. Currently I am teaching piano and violin classes at the Salvation Army in Memphis. My first experience with teaching was as a 15 year old counselor at a week long violin summer camp in Maine that my private teacher was running. It was a really fun summer of outdoor violin practice, board games, fishing, swimming, watching movies and cooking together. Since then, I have been teaching private lessons and also enjoyed 2 summers teaching at Interlochen. My students are active in the local community and we participate in most of the local opportunities such as All west, youth symphonies, and competitions. Read More
