I suggest each students sits with the instrument at least 3 days a week, not including lesson day. I give you fun and easy warm ups to explore how to use the instrument. I try to teach in a way that highlights how, often, improvements can be made instantly, but on the other side, how hard work and diligent practice lead to growth over time. As a specialist of the music of the Caucasus, I not only performed but also lectured at the Wayne State University, Columbia University, Arizona State University, and the University of Alberta.
