I am passionate about teaching as well as performing. My night job includes performing as a classical pianist at Cavey's Italian Restaurant in Manchester, CT on Saturday nights every other month. I am a traditional teacher in that I focus on laying a secure foundation to prevent any unnatural habits from blocking the students progress in the future and helping the student become completely independent of the teacher. The student learns the skills necessary to teach themselves. I chose violin, studied at the South End Music Center, and relied on my time with violin as a constant in an otherwise turbulent young life. Whether it be stage performance, studio recording or personal satisfaction, I will use a variety of techniques to help them reach their individual goals.
