I teach not only music performance which includes technique, memorization, practice techniques, body mechanics and health, and memorization but also theory, ear training, music history, performance and music business. Circe D. is an award-winning Venezuelan cellist hailing from El Sistema, Venezuelas acclaimed youth music program. She was a student of magnet school New World School of Arts in Florida, studying under David Cole, as well as a cello performance student at the University of Florida graduating both academic programs with honors. Ms. Circe D. also holds a masters degree in Cello Performance from the University of Florida. Ms. Circe D. has performed as a touring featured cellist with The Nuevo Mundo String Quartet, the World Orchestra String Quartet, and as a soloist with the Symphony Orchestra of Aragua and the Whittier Symphony Orchestra, among others. My love of violin began at age 19 and I joined the college orchestra after 6 months of lessons. I passed ASTACAP level 9 in 2019. I returned to Fullerton College and earned my piano pedagogy certificate with 14 additional units in performance, theory and child development. I have played violin in 3 orchestras over the years and hundreds of local church/wedding/studio performances. I traveled to China with Chapman Symphony and performed 4 concerts.
