Upon learning the basics of how to hold the violin and the bow is learning how to read music and sing music. Children who study with me don't just learn how to 'play' the music, they learn how to really 'PERFORM' it--wide range of volume, lots of expression, and true musicality! Teens (13-18) typically prefer to choose their own curriculum. They are mature enough to appreciate a classical background, and we study the great composers and all their famous pieces, which inform their understanding of music history as well. I like to introduce teenagers to a variety of genres and styles and widen their palette, so they can eventually choose what they would like to focus on developing with me. Read More

I am a classical violinist with a very deep passion for classical music. I did my Bachelor's from 2016 to 2020 in Music Performance at the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey ad I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in music, also at the Mason Gross School of the Arts. Performing is a very strong passion of mine and I am glad I had the opportunity to perform in Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center, as well as several music festivals such as the Killington Music Festival in Vermont, the Brevard Music Center in North Carolina, and the Summit International Music Festival in New York. In highschool I worked with a music mentoring program.  I would travel to local elementary schools and teach children from 2nd to 4th grade violin in small groups.  This cultivated my love of teaching.  Though in college I never had the opportunity to teach privately due to my busy schedule, during breaks I would often give masterclass style lessons to students of my former teacher Michael Bandimere when they were preparing for performances or auditions.
