I began teaching private voice and piano lessons in 2010 while pursing my undergraduate degree, immediately recognizing the joy of helping develop a passion for music within any willing student. I have since continued to teach students of all ages, styles, and experience levels at a studio location, in student's homes, and in music schools. I am a third-year undergrad at NYU, studying Music Education with a concentration in instrumental performanceand I love it! Currently, I am working on the last of my classwork before student teaching full time. I hope to graduate in May 2024 with a B.M. in Music Education and my NYSED pK-12 certification. Piano For beginning piano students who are children, I usually start with my own lesson sheets I composed. I also entertain kids by having them color and draw notes and scales. After being familiar with fundamentals, depending on students progress, I recommend them to study with Hal Leonard's or Alfred's. From (Mid) highschoolers to adults, I will start off with Ferdinand Beyer first then Czerny with a couple other supplementary.  Voice For children, I keep them interested with children's song and have them play along singing. My teaching experience dates back to my college days and my first vocal pedagogy class. We were all assigned a non-singer to teach and I won't lie, I was very nervous taking on my first student. However, once we got going I fell in love with teaching and have been doing it on and off for 5 years.
