I gained international recognition as a vocal performer of note, having performed on the stages of Acapulco, Tokyo, Bangkok, Singapore, Aruba, Curacao and Buenos Aires, to name a few, as well as major U. S. cities. If a student is beginning to study improvisation a similar approach is used with styles of soloists that they are very familiar with. My teaching experience started after college I began teaching with public schools in 2006 and teaching independently in 2009 all ages. I love all genres of music and I motivate and encourage my students to explore music in that way. I love to have fun with teaching and competition so I encourage students who are interested in a performing career to perform live in talents shows , community events, family parties and gatherings so that they are able to have the experience amongst there peers and family. I really take a look at what the student needs to learn and what the student wants to learn because I've seen a lot of students giving up because the institution or teacher is giving to much theory and very poor practice. I try to balance those responsibilities to a point that the student will always be learning something new as long as I work on their motivation and consistency of keeping up so they can learn how to play anything they like and want.
