I started my teaching career my sophomore year of college while studying the performing arts. I first began teaching at a music school in Greenwich, CT after being referred by my orchestra conductor. After teaching there for a few months i was then recommended by a fellow teacher to instruct at a school in Darien, CT as well as their sister store where I developed a strong clientele. After teaching for the past six years i know that this is my passion in life. Read More

I have been a student of the art since I was 11 years old. I studied at Five Towns College and have since performed with all manner of ensembles including Musical Theatre, Rock and Pop, Metal, Blues, and Opera. As well as teaching and performing, I am also an experienced guitar technician and repair professional. Music, and my commitment to my students has been my life for as long as memory serves. In the past 6 years I have been teaching groups and privately voice lessons and music theory (topics such as ear traning, solfege, harmony and improvisation). I have experience teaching all levels and ages around Israel, Dublin and the USA - teaching in Hebrew and/or English. I motivate and encourage my students to work and practice as a fun aspect - to let help them develop themselves both musically, physically and also spiritually. Read More

I am a charismatic and vivacious voice instructor who believes one voice can change the world! As a recent graduate from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, I am trained in all aspects of the performing arts. Throughout high school I sang classically, and continued studying the style of musical theater. I have had the opportunity to perform all over the East Coast with different titles such as; Outstanding Miss Eastern America, Outstanding Miss of America, and America's Homecoming Queen. Read More

During the first lesson, I have a short discussion with the student to see what their goals are. I also ask what about music interests them. I then ask them to perform anything of their choice to assess their ability level (if applicable). After that, I tell them what immediately needs to be addressed and how this will work with their longterm goal. Then, based on their progress, we set benchmark goals that are adjusted according to their pace. Read More

Not all students are created the same! I do my best to adjust my teaching style and lesson for each student. Especially for novice students, I adjust the pace in order for the student to ease into the instrument. Especially with piano, I advocate warming up and practicing effectively. In my opinion, it is best to work smarter and be efficient with practice time. It is important to me to not only have good technique and a fundamental knowledge of music theory, but to understand the who, what, where, when, how, and why in the music. Read More

My teaching style is very unique and I call it the chameleon music style. Just like the chameleon changes color to his surrounding environment, I like to be open for change. According to the students needs and convent from the parents I can push the students to excellent technical abilities, but I can also be fun and not make the lessons boring. In my music studio there are no judgements and no shaming. Read More
