Henry is an incredibly experienced piano instructor in northern New Jersey, working with students of all ages and skill levels.Henry is an active member of two bands: one is a progressive rock group where he writes original compositions, and the second is a Beatles tribute band that regularly plays in the area. I was involved in The Artscape Youth Jazz Program as a mentor for several years as well as a performer and lecturer for several years at The National Arts Festival/ Grahamstown Jazz festival in South Africa. Students can learn and improve their skills through preparation and performing on stage at the beautiful recital hall. I have been teaching voice students from age 12 to adult. In order to keep my students interested, I like to work on repertoire that theyre interested in and that they select. I definitely suggest pieces that I think might help practice areas of their vocal technique that they would like to improve, but I also want to make sure its music that they like and want to sing.
