I have been teaching music in school and giving private music lessons for voice, piano, violin, piano, cello, and viola since 2003. Aside from giving private music lessons, I also conduct and organize chamber ensembles, choir, orchestra, hand bell choir, musicals, recitals, and other public performances. Just as rewarding as performing is my experience teaching on the voice faculties of San Jose State University, Chabot College, The Music School of Sunnyvale, and my private studio. Seeing my students perform lead and supporting roles with Children's Musical Theatre San Jose, Peninsula Youth Theatre, and school productions, and winning awards through NATS, VOCE, and CM is thrilling! One year after graduating from KD Conservatory, I moved to the Philippines and started my own original band called Alchemy Band. We performed several times a week at local venues. Most of the band members were full-time college students and due to the overwhelming workload, some of the members could no longer keep up with performance demand. I was simultaneously performing with a well-known girl-group called SILK Party Band and eventually became a full-time member performing "Top 40" hits from the 70's to current, 6-7 times a week all over the Philippines.
