I can help my students improve technique for any genres of music they want with a focus on building a solid and healthy technique. I have recently relocated to the Charles Town WV area from Vermont. I have been teaching voice since 1989. I deeply enjoy helping students find their voice and developing their authentic style. My music background includes a great deal of performing in oratorios, choral and orchestral concerts, small vocal ensembles, musical theater, and cabarets. I am a frequent soloist at church on Sundays, as well as for funerals and weddings. I excel in repertoire finding and coaching, and I like to give song options to students— though it is up to the singer to perform what they like. I am not set on a particular methods book because I am a firm believer that all students learn differently and some methods work better for some than others.
