I have one major rules for all my students: No one is allowed to be overly critical of themselves when they are working hard and trying out new ideas. You see, singing takes quite a bit of coordination, and there is always something else to work on. We must celebrate our triumphs and then take stock of what we need to work on next. I began Suzuki piano when I was five and I'm so thankful to have such a keen ear as a professional violinist.
