During my internship with Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center  and volunteer work with The Cavalier Music Enrichment Program (both based in Baltimore, Maryland), I have taught music to over 250 students. From general music theory to specific instruction in brass, woodwind, and percussion techniques; I have had the privilege to work with students of various ages, spanning from sixth graders to college students. Typically for classical piano students, I use Alfred’s curriculum (both the student and Adult levels depending on need) and once a classical foundation is learned, we venture into ear training and learning a variety of genres. I use multiple materials in trianing the students and I also respect the sacrifice of the parents in getting them lessons, so much uf the material is made by me with specific focus on that student. I do use some of the Hal Leonard's Essential Elements Series material cause it is consistent and user friendly.
