It is very importantto me that students enjoy their lessons and feel engaged in the learning process. My biggest rule is that they need to have fun andenjoy what they are doing. I am a very kind, up-beat andfriendly teacher that believes in positive reinforcement and constructive criticism. I encourage my students tocommunicate withme on an equal level and to always ask questions if they don't understand something. Governor's  Residence (Albany, NY) and Samueli Theatre (Segerstrom Center of the Arts, CA) among others. Gorjana has collaborated with a pleiad of brilliant artists, some of them being world renowned  Serbian musicians such as Dejan Mladjenovic (viola), Milena Kitic (mezzo-soprano) and Stefan Milenkovic (violin).        Gorjana is the director and founder of chamber choir "Istochnik' dedicated to performing a variety of Christian music with an emphasis on Orthodox worship and Slavic traditional music. I have a syllabus that I am following base on the Music Teacher's Association syllabus in preparation for a Certificate of Merrit examination. And for those younger students that are not ready yet in taking the Statewide Music examination, a Royal School of Music syllabus is what I am using in order for our studies to be on track.
