For every student I always start with the basics. What are the basics? Well, first and most important for getting you started is open chords. That along with pentatonic scales will really help to develope finger dexterity and get the student adjusted to proper hand and finger positioning on the guitar. I consider myself resourceful to a voice student of any genre for building up good and healthy vocal techniques. I usually suggest repertoire to a student based on their level and/ or Voice type but I am also delighted to help a student with a repertoire of their own choice. At the end of the day, I want my students to enjoy what they sing. I encourage them to put themselves out there to go for competitions or holding their own recitals. Read More
