I have been teaching voice lessons for almost ten years to students of all ages, skill levels, and preferred genres. Many of my students have been successful on stage, in auditions, competitions, and in gaining acceptance into music schools across the country. My focus is to guide my student in finding their own voice in a healthy way. Every student has a different goal in taking voice lessons. For students I ask that you have printed lyrics and instrumentals for our lessons. Microphones can be used in lessons as well. Equipment*** - Large mirror (for practicing in front of)- microphone – sound system to play instrumentals. I specifically love working on stage presence, I feel this area tends to be overlooked. Every week I like to challenge my singers to expand their musical horizons. Whether its by showing them a new genre or introducing acting through song, I want my students to be more than just singers. I want them to be PERFORMERS! I focus on ear training and vocal health when first starting with a new student, making sure they have the fundamentals for a long lasting career.
