We will improve the clarity of tone, solidity of vocal production, breath support and control, and many other vocal techniques. Trombone: Tone, clarity, accuracy of pitch, and good sight reading is essential for trombone students.  We work on building a strong embouchure, consistent breath support and control, excellent posture, and how to read not only notes but rhythms accurately and with flare. I keep track each week in a notebook of what their assignments are. I use many different books, learning by ear, learning by youtube, learning by rout, and I have developed my own music writing technique which decodes any song at any level to a much easier level because all students are unique, and deserve to have a teacher who can reach them. I normally use the Standard of Excellence method books for most of my students; however, I am open minded to adjusting to each individual student's musical needs, whether it be Jazz, Classical, or whatever style music the student is focusing on. For Drummers, I prefer the Haskell Harr Method, or the Buddy Rich Method Book, as well as the Breeze Easy Method Book. During my high school years, I focused on composition, which became my main area of study during college.
