I look at a students ability to read music first to determine what kind of music they should be working on. I teach students on an individual basis in order to quickly help them improve. I expected online students to bring up information about their playing experiences so that can best accommodate them as their online private teacher. During quarantine, I was able to teach 100 students how to play an orchestra instrument and it has a lot to do with showing and explaining live during those lessons. Read More

My teaching experience began around 2012 when I taught some of my teacher's students while she was out of town for the summer. Throughout college and graduate school, I maintained a small studio of a handful of students. After graduating in 2016, I began to grow my private studio as well as working with music schools throughout Denver, including Denver Public Schools, and Douglas County Schools. Besides private teaching, I also coach sectionals and small ensembles with DPS, DCS, and DASC (Denver Adult Strings Camp). Read More
