Once the student has a grasp of their instrment and the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire and tecnique exercises. I received my Bachelors of Music in Cello Performance from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester New York in 2015. After graduating, I moved to Chicago Illinois, where I have enjoyed an active teaching, performing, recording and touring schedule. When someone wants to learn how to play an instrument well enough to play in a band or orchestra, I usually consider two needs - playing music and interpreting written music.
