While fundamental technique and repertoire are of course crucial in the pairing cellist's development, the ultimate goal is to provide the student with the means to use the instrument to further their own musical interests. I use a developmentally appropriate approach for preschoolers based on the Music Together curriculum. For ages 6 to 8, I offer Musical Safari, an overview of many instruments with basis in theory, solfege and reading, helping children and parents make the right choice of instruments based on the student's interest. For adult voice I favor the clippinger method added to my choir master experience where besides the technique, I customize the songs you want to learn with personalized arrangements in your most comfortable key. I am teaching the students by wide range from beginners to most advanced. I use Suzuki method combined with traditional teaching materials and traditional teaching methods for advanced students. For younger students, I mainly use Suzuki teaching method, combined with etudes, like Alwin Schroeder's 170 Foundation Studies. Teaching all age group students with scales as well.
