I am a graduate of the Edna Manley College of the Performing Arts where I studied Music Education. I also have a diploma in Piano Performance and Teaching from the Royal College of Music. I have been an instrumental instructor for the past 25 years, and enjoy sharing the joys of music with learners. I believe that learning to play an instrument should be an enjoyable experience. I have twenty one years of teaching experience. I started teaching at the age of 19 as a private teacher and also I was a band conductor for a couple of years at Moscow State Wind College. When I came to the US in 2007 and year later I started building my private teaching studio while I was a student at Roosevelt University. This led to my interest in being a music education major in college where I gave lessons and taught marching band for 3 years. I opened my clarinet studio while in college. Over the next decade, my studio grew to over 40 students. It was a diverse studio with clarinetists of all levels and ages! I am excited to be teaching privately, and building my studio again, here in Florida! Lessons with me will be a good mix of work and fun.
