My primary instrument is oboe. I have studied with several successful oboists and earned a master's degree in oboe performance from Bowling Green State University, studying with Dr. Nermis Mieses. While earning my degree I took lessons and participated in masterclasses with some of the most successful oboists in the country. My teaching experience began while I was in college taking music education coursework and working as a music tutor for a local middle school band program.
